80 days: Hunger

I gave myself 300 days to mark off some goals. I’m about up to day 220.

So far I have lost 3.5 kgs.

I have 8kgs to lose in the next 80 days. One kilo every ten days should be doable. But it will require something I’ve forgotten: hunger.

I have to eat less calories than my body uses, forcing it to use my body’s own fat. Eating protein will preferentially keep my muscle mass. But what my body does when I am eating less is make me feel hungry. That has to be the real challenge of weight loss: hunger

I have to have some mantras for my brain to remember that the solution for hunger is not just to eat, but to realize that hunger is a signal my body is using up my fat resources.
